It's no secret: the best hockey players have always been those who have been able to combine raw skating speed with an almost intuitive understanding of the game. The 2015 AHA Hockey Intermediate Instructional Summer Program will offer rigorous on-ice skills training that will help you to become both a faster skater and a more creative and resourceful team player.
Led by former Minnesota Gopher, US Olympian, and North Stars player Dave Jensen, the program will be focused on the development of skating, speed/agility, and lightning fast on-ice decision making. The program will be skating intensive and will incorporate overspeed skating exercises in order to help you become a faster, more confident player. The instructors will assist you with immediate on-ice feedback concerning your stride mechanics and positional play. We will also be offering an off-ice shooting tutorial(s) as part of the program.
